Taxation

Taxes are how governments collect money to run the government and to provide services to the population from health care, to roads and policing. Two main types of taxes are property taxes and income tax.

Property Taxes

If you own real property, you will be required to pay property taxes. Understand how these taxes are determined and how the funds are used.

Income Tax

An income tax return is used to calculate your taxable income, deductions and tax credits. It may also be required to qualify for some federal programming.

PLEA's Safety Planning Tool is designed to help people dealing with violent relationships by providing them with strategies to increase their safety. By answering anonymous and confidential questions about their situation people can create a safety plan specific to their situation and their needs.
